A Letter from Torbec Taffy

I was told I should write and tell you how I'm doing in my new forever home...

So far, it's been just fantastic. There are two cats -- if you press on them in the right place they blow up, but mostly they are very good about chasing and playing and letting me grab at their tails.

I have a great time chasing the chickens, although now they are starting to chase me right back.  It's a good game.

The pony lets me torment him, but I do get scolded for that. I tried grabbing him by the tail, and the leg, and even on his tummy... and he gave me a really dirty look. I think he used a bad word...  I am NOT allowed to go in or play with the big horses, but I have met them nose to nose when on my harness.

We went into town in the car, and I had to wait while shopping happened... it was boring, so I curled up under Mom's coat and went to sleep. Then we went to the pet store and we bought even more toys. I have so many toys (including the cats) but I still love to collect shoes, mitts, pillows...

When we go to the office, I have two balls to play with, but I am not to bark, and have to curl up and snooze under the computer when Mom's working.

Yesterday the Agility Dogs were here, and I made some new friends, and watched them run through tunnels and climb over stuff. I can already jump onto furniture, so I'll be able to out-jump ALL of them.

Oh, yes, Mom says to say that I've already learned the command "SIT", which is the first thing (you once told her) that people teach their dogs, when we really should be learning to 'stand' for the bench... never mind. I'll learn that too!

It's a whole new world, and a lot of places to run. There were a lot of strange people here this weekend, but I did my best to say hello to everyone!

I'll write again later...

Luv

TAFFY
P.S. I hear 'good dog' a LOT
